Let the record show that as of this point, I am officially considering the fork standing up in a giant slab of werewolf meat. Possibly, at some point, this may change. We'll see. I'm done losing sleep over it.
If anyone has any loose ends they would like to tie up at some point, let me know here and I'll see what I can do.

Okay, here's how it is. This weekend, I'm (theoretically) going out of town. Next weekend, I will be back. As far as I know, everyone will be in town then. So, it's time to do this. Either Werewolf or Eberron, Saturday, May 13. If I get no response on splintered_oak, then Eberron it will be. Sound off folks.

Twister rips through parking area at St. Joseph's
(St.Louis, MO) Last night the relative calm in the Saint Charles suburb of Greater Saint Louis was shattered by the violent and unexpected onset of a late season twister striking at St. Joseph's Medical Center, at 300 1st Capitol Dr in Saint Charles. Devestating no less than fifteen vehicles, including two ambulences. 4 Deaths, and 31 injuries were sustained in the twister which touched down just after midnight, tearing a jagged swath across the 'B' parking area towards the Emergency Room entrance before retreating back into the sky, as suddenly as it had appeared.
Spokespersons for the NOAA remain puzzled by the appearance of the storm ...

FBI to send more investigators to search Shinzui site
(St.Louis, MO) In the wake of Tuesday morning's devestating attacks, the local office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation suggested Friday that a renewed interest in the destruction of the Shinzui Enterprises building would be underway within the next few weeks....

Iowa City Shooter May Have Been Delusional
(Iowa City, IA) The Boat House Club Shooter, who killed five and injured fifteen, may have believed that his victims were "feeding" an alien.
Sources close to the investigation claim that the shooter, David Lynn Carpenter, was obsessed with aliens. Investigators found hundreds of UFO books, magazines, and photographs in the room he rented. They also found pictures of an unidentified individual that Carpenter appeared to be stalking. Police are attempting to contact the person Carpenter allegedly followed.

STRUGGLING AGAINST FANATICISM
By AMOS OZ (op.ed. repeated with gracious regards of the New York Times)
RAD, Israel -- A tide of religious and nationalistic fanaticism is on the rise throughout Islam, from the Philippines to Gaza and Libya and Algeria, from Afghanistan and Iran and Iraq to Lebanon and Sudan. Here in Israel we have been on the receiving end of this lethal fanatic tide: almost every day we witness the link between hateful incitement and mass murders, between religious sermons that celebrate jihad and its fulfillment in suicide bombs against innocent civilians.
Being the victims of Arab and Muslim fundamentalism often blinds us so that we tend to ignore the rise of chauvinistic and religious extremism not only in the domain of Islam but also in various parts of the Christian world and indeed among the Jewish people. If it turns out that America's dreadful ordeal results from the fact that fanatic mullahs and ayatollahs persistently portray the United States as "The Great Satan" — then America, like Israel, "The Little Satan," must prepare itself for a long, hard struggle.

Are we playing Werewolf this weekend? Brook is trying to make plans with me, and I'm not sure what to tell her.
How is Wednesday for down-time stuff?

Game announcement:

I'm not sure if we're going to be playing today ladies and germs.
EDIT We are not playing today. Bon if you want to do downtimey stuff later on today, LMK.
Er, wait, scratch that. I know lucky_b doesn't have net access on the weekends. I'll call her folks.
The reasons for this are a fewfold:
1. I (largely my own fault) still haven't had a chance to sit down with lucky_b and do her downtime - and I refuse to rush it *again*. To whit, until I get that down and taken care of, we're not doing diddly.
2. I'm still lacking a few confirms from a few peeps. Mostly one that lives with me. ;) Edit Talked to said person.
3. It'll be April 1 before we can game again. *snort*

Just a thought.

Feasibility Study Time:

There are four weekends in March - the saturdays within them are:
the 4th
the 11th
the 18th
and the 25th.

I would like to know when (if) everyone will be free for pack activity. A few points:
1. my last week of training ends on the 18th: afterward there is the *possibility* I'll be working on the weekends but I'm told it's pretty unlikely. Just saying, there's a chance.

2. *I* am not going to be free on the 25th, as that's two days after my birthday and I'd like to do something (no, no idea what yet).

3. There's the possibility I may Austin sometime in March also, depending. (( Trying to see Zoe about once a month right now))

As far as April is concerned, well hells bells. The weekend of the 15th is Right Out as, at this point, I plan on being in the Bay Area. :D And I believe the last weekend is likely out as well, if only b/c that is longshot14 and blissfishs anniversary. :)

Let me know here or in person. :)
Your Storytelling Gamemasterish Person

EDIT Also - lucky_b we need to pick a Friday to do downtime stuff (see, I haven't forgotten) Give me a ballpark idea when's good for you and we'll talk.
